A Primer to Python II

The majority of our data science Python workshops require basic knowledge of Python. This two-part workshop is aimed to provide you with that basic knowledge that is needed for these intermediate/advanced Python data science workshops like data manipulation, webscraping, machine learning, spatial analysis etc. Topics covered will include Python data types, Python basic functions, file I/O, basic Python modules, string manipulation, syntax for basic programming concepts etc. Attendees will learn these concepts in the design of a game through project based learning. Attendees are expected to sign up for both parts I & II. The workshop is intended for people who want to brush up on their basic Python knowledge or who have some programming experience. Anaconda Python 3.5 and the Spyder IDE will be used.
