Linux command line

This workshop will cover the linux command line, with an emphasis on tools that are useful for manipulating data, and productive research workflows.  We will cover basic shell techniques including process management, session management using tmux, very basic vim and Emacs usage, and selected utilities such as grep, less, sort, head, paste, find, data compression tools, and AFS/Kerberos tools.
