Geospatial Analysis with Google Earth Engine – I

September 15, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 4:45 pm

Modern Languages Building (MLB), Room 2001B

Google Earth Engine combines a multi-petabyte catalog of satellite imagery and geospatial datasets with planetary-scale analysis capabilities. This class will give a gentle introduction to the power and convenience of Earth Engine. Basic knowledge of remote sensing (or raster data) and computer programming (in any language) is required.

We will use the web-based IDE for the Earth Engine JavaScript API. You will need to register (free) at signup.earthengine.google.com with Google to use the Earth Engine.
