Cancelled: Geospatial Analysis with Google Earth Engine – II

October 20, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Rackham Building, Earl Lewis Room, 3rd Floor East

Google Earth Engine combines a multi-petabyte catalog of satellite imagery and geospatial datasets with planetary-scale analysis capabilities. This is the second workshop in this series and will assume familiarity with the  introductory material covered in the previous workshop. We will focus on
recent hurricanes in Texas and Florida and explore spatial and temporal  patterns of urban growth, settlements, hydrology, rains, and geographic  features and learn about how to carry out simple linear regression, basic  spatial analysis, and visualization in GEE.  We will use the web-based IDE for the Earth Engine JavaScript API. You will need to register (free) at signup.earthengine.google.com with Google to use the Earth Engine.
