Image Processing

This workshop will expose you to the introductory concepts and algorithms employed in image processing. I will cover basic concepts such as the types and storage of image data, image enhancement in the spatial domain, filtering, thresholding, segmentation, and edge detection.

Some familiarity with Matlab is required. We will use a variety of image data such as from remote sensing, medical imaging, and digital camera.
